7 And 10 Inch Dell Streak Slate

The Dell Streak has been whispered about in I.T. departments for months now. When the Dell Streak 7 and 10 inch versions were leaked, credit counseling offices and I.T. departments exploded with joy.

There have been pictures leaking of the Dell Streak for months now. In fact, on March 9, Dell did release a specifications sheet for the Mini 5 – the five-inch Dell Streak. This information was just a teaser, though, with no ship date available. The Dell Streak lineup was confirmed this morning as including 7 and 10 inch versions.

Dell Streak features

The line of Dell Streak computers are true multipurpose tablet computers. The Streak 5 is said to include a SIM card and dialer – meaning it will act as a phone as well. Amazon and Dell have also penned a content partnership for the Dell Streak computers. With video streaming, Kindle app, and MP3 player built in, the Streak machines will also come in many colors. A touch display will control the VGA camera, video chat, 30-pin docking connector, and 5 megapixel camera.

Operating system of the Dell Streak

The Dell Streak OS will, more likely than not, be Windows-based. By hire dedicated programmers, anybody who wanted to create an application or program could develop one.

When will the Dell Streak ship?

Not everything is known about the Dell Streak. A few more months from now, the Dell 7 and 10 will have official ship dates. Some may have gotten a payday cash loan in anticipation of the Dell Slate, but most of us will have to wait until the end of the year. Officially, the Dell Streak 5 is planned for a “late 2010″ release. The Dell Streak 7 and Dell Streak 10 should also be available in “early 2011″. The Iphone, Ipad, and WePad need to keep an eye out!
