Kindle Vs Nook, Nook Vs Kindle, Who Will win

Looking for a cool e-reader? So what do you want: Kindle vs Nook? I’ll tell you which one I prefer. I will now give you ten points of comparison. I really love the Kindle. That is my personal experience. There are more reasons to love the kindle than not. You decide. So her here are 11 points:

-Size: Nook is smaller than Kindle but not as compact. Still Kindle is thinner.

-weight: Kindle is generally lighter than the Nook. About 3oz lighter than the original. 7oz lighter than the color version; 1oz heavier than Nook Touch.

-Battery life: Nook lasts longer. If not using the internet Kindles battery lasts about 4 weeks, as the old Nook lasts 2 weeks, but Nook Touch lasts 8 weeks, now the Nook Color will last about 8 hours.

-Screen:The Kindle 3 is just better than the original Nook fro contrast in the viewer, but it is the same as the new Nook Touch of 2011. Both of the readers have no glare, except for the color Nook version as it has a LCD screen.

-Navigation:Useing real buttons and a toggle for navigation Kindle for me is not as good as the Nook which is touch screen. Yes Nook has touch screen in different sizes.

-Memory: Take you electronic library with you! You need enough memory, and Kindle has it. Kindle has about double the memory compared to Nook, and the Nook Touch. While K3 isn’t expandable, Nook is, I will cost you more.

-free books: Both have free book opportunities, but Kindle has more. Nook supports the public library books epuB. Kindle supports free .mobi books that are abundant online, Kindle Books can be found at 11,000 public libraries.

-Free 3G internet for Kindle! Sorry to say that the Nook Touch and Color come only with WiFi.

-Rating: Kindle has the highest rating of 4.5, Nook is under that with between 3.7 to 4.3.

-Price: Kindle is cheaper, with a big book selection. And eBooks are cheaper on Amazon.

-Offering very low priced, but high quality independent books, Kindle is smart, making it really easy for authors to publish their books on the Kindle.

This is all pointless when you get the new Kindle tablet for a mere $199.00 that can do everything an Ipad can do, all I can say is get it now so you don’t have to stand in line.

Nook isn’t bad, you make the choice, but I think Nook will have to do something big to beat Kindle. With the exception of the glare I personally think that ibook browsers from the Ipad is better than Kindle. But the book market is hard to beat when competing with Amazon.
